Afterschool Enrichment Program – Policies & Guidelines
Thank you for your interest in our Afterschool Enrichment Program. Our goal is to create a safe, fun, and enriching environment for all students. To keep expectations clear, please review the following policies regarding refunds, attendance, and participation:

1. Attendance & Missed Classes

Students are expected to attend all scheduled classes.

Missed classes due to personal reasons (vacations, appointments, illness, etc.) are not eligible for refunds, credits, or transfers.

2. Program Cancellations

If a class must be canceled by our program, families will be notified in advance. Whenever possible, a make-up class will be scheduled. The make-up date will be determined based on the day that works for the majority of families.

3. Refund Guidelines
-
No refunds will be issued for services after the completion of the first week of classes. If a refund is issued, a $50 processing fee will be deducted from the total.

4. Force Majeure (Uncontrollable Events)

If schools close due to emergencies beyond our control (e.g., severe weather, natural disasters, or other unexpected circumstances), refunds will not be provided.

5. Code of Conduct
We hold high standards for behavior to ensure a respectful and positive experience for all. Students are expected to:

Use kind language and show respect to peers and staff.

Follow directions from instructors.

Avoid physical contact, inappropriate gestures, or behavior that disrupts learning.
Students who violate these expectations may be dismissed from the program without a refund.

Uniform & Dress Code

Art Classes

Aprons will be provided, but they do not fully protect from paint or stains.

Dress in clothing that can get messy.

Closed-toe shoes are required—no Crocs, sandals, or flip-flops.

Physical Classes (Dance, Cheer, Martial Arts, etc.)

Wear comfortable, movement-friendly clothing.

Skirts, Crocs, sandals, and open-toed shoes are not allowed.

Sneakers are highly recommended for safety.​

Dance Class (Hip-Hop & Bollywood)

Students should wear comfortable clothing that allows free movement. A Healthy Hip-Hop performance tee will be available for purchase for the final showcase. A link will be sent out at the end of the month.

No skirts, Crocs, or open-toed shoes allowed.
Cheer Class

Students should wear comfortable athletic clothing and sneakers.

Uniforms are not included in the program price.

Hair should be tied back for safety.

Students enrolled in the cheer class will be required to purchase a designated cheer uniform for the final showcase. We will be providing a link to purchase the outfit by the end of the month.
Martial Arts Class

Students will wear a uniform included in the program price.

Uniform sizing will be taken on the first day of class.

Students should come prepared with tied hair and no jewelry for safety.
Ballet Class
Students are required to wear a ballet uniform:

ATTENTION: No need to purchase additional uniforms if your child already has one. For regular classes, students may come in any comfortable clothing if needed. After snack time, the kids will change in the bathroom before class begins. Please know that your child will not be penalized for not having the uniform—we completely understand that things come up. The most important thing is that they are ready to follow instructions and enjoy learning new skills.​

Showcase & Event Guidelines​
​
VIPS Requirement
All volunteers or parents assisting during events must be VIPS (Volunteers in Public Schools) approved through the district.​
​
Showcase Attendance Limit
Due to space and safety policies, only two (2) parents or guardians per student may attend the showcase.

We strive to provide a high-quality and enjoyable program, but we know we are not perfect and mistakes may happen.
